If you don’t want to drive to Burnsville to pick-up your online order you can select Nokomis Farmers Market as your pick-up location during check-out. Stop by the market anytime between 4-8pm and grab your plants. Then do some shopping!
It’s also a great opportunity to pick-up groceries, baked goods, fresh produce and prepared food from local farmers, chefs and artisans. You can support local economies and eco-systems at the same time. Keep your money local. Keep your footprint small. Keep it native.
This market is one of 3 markets managed by Neighborhood Roots in Minneapolis, MN.
History of Nokomis Farmers Market:
In 2012, Neighborhood Roots was approached by the Hale-Page-Diamond Lake Neighborhood Association about their desire to start a new neighborhood farmers market. After careful consideration, the decision was made to launch three pilot markets during the summer of 2014. Nokomis Farmers Market took place mid-week on Wednesday evenings – the perfect opportunity to catch up on shopping and spend a quality summer afternoon with friends and neighbors! The enthusiasm of the neighborhood in 2014 lead to the launch of a once weekly Wednesday afternoon market in 2015. The 2025 season marks the tenth full-season for Nokomis. Sixteen weeks of local food, music and fun!
