Large-Flowered Bellwort (Uvularia Grandiflora)
$9.50
One of our favorite ephemerals. After Bloodroot and Dutchman breeches are finished comes a second flush of spring color from the "later" ephemerals like of Bellwort, Celandine Poppy and Virginia Bluebells. Sometimes bellwort's foliage is persistent in the garden, hanging around until fall, but that's ok it has an attractive form and texture. Pair with woodland sedges, Solomon plume, Elmleaf goldenrod and asters for a three seasons show. Plant under oaks for a time capsule.
