Prairie Loosestrife (Lysimachia Quadriflora)

An amazingly beautiful and unassuming wildflower destined for glory but always overlooked, forgotten and ignored in gardens. This plant should be a staple in rain gardens, especially for gardeners looking for shorter more modest species, but no one is planting this plant. Be on the vanguard, get yours today! Prefers wet soils but does fine in regular garden situations. Plant with sedges like palm sedge, brown fox sedge, Yellow Fruit Sedge and other moist soil and full sun loving species--a knock out with Bottle Gentian.
