Fringed Brome (Bromus Ciliatus)

A very beautiful grass for wetter areas. Reminiscent in form to Prairie Brome but more robust and preferring wetter habitats. Overall, Bromes are underutilized in the garden. Give this one a try in a low spot, rain garden or at the edge of a down spout, mix with flowers that grow in shade or edge habitat that tolerate wet feet like Canada Anemone or Early Rue.
