Lindley's Aster (Symphyotrichum Ciliolatum)

You'll find this plant everywhere up north however it does well here in southern MN too. Grows in every condition from full sun to nearly full shade. One of our favorite asters with a red stem and beautiful purple flowers. Mixes well in a natural border or the back of a formal garden. Pair with taller sedges, woodland grasses and of course goldenrods for maximum impact!
