Orange Coneflower (Rudbeckia Fulgida)

Not native to MN but widely adopted. Excellent garden plant that offers many ecosystem services. The longer lived and shorter version of Rudbeckia triloba (Brown-eyed Susan). This is the origin plant of Rudbeckia Goldstrum that you see growing in bank and fast-food parking lots, only in my experience the straight species doesn't have so many foliar deices....
