Excellent garden plant! Not technically native to MN but performs well here. Beautiful blue flowers in Spring/summer that insects readily pollinate. If you give it appropriate light and moisture you get excellent fall color. Has the form of a herbaceous shrub, so you can build a hedge with it or use it as a specimen.
